Requirements for Construction of Wooden Greenhouse in Kenya

1. Treated thick wooden planks – used to build the support structure.
2. Wooden Poles – for roofing the structure and jointing the wooden planks.
3. 200-micron UV treated polythene sheet – used as the cover of the greenhouse. 200 micron polythene sheet allows the right sunlight inside.
4. Channel Lock Profiles – acts as an anchor to support the greenhouse polythene cover on the wooden greenhouse structure.
5. Wires – wiggle wires is used to stick the greenhouse polythene sheet on the structure.
6. Nails – Iron Nails are for attaching the wooden poles to form a strong wooden greenhouse structure.
7. Cement, ballast and sand – to create a firm support for the wooden planks
8. Insect net – for sealing the ventilation. Allows aeration and keeps insects out of the greenhouse.

• Drip irrigation kits – for watering your plants
